Samantha Huffman, MT-BC
Samantha Huffman is a board certified music therapist with University Hospitals Connor Whole Health, serving inpatients at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. She has previously provided therapeutic experiences for clients in nursing homes, early childhood, juvenile detention centers and patients in hospice care. After completing a six month internship with Hospice of the Western Reserve, graduating from Cleveland State University in 2015, and working in early childhood with The Beck Center for the Arts, Samantha joined University Hospitals Connor Whole Health. Samantha provides treatment for inpatients, outpatients in pulmonary rehab, outpatients using meditation during childbirth, Mommy and Me community music development classes and drumming and wellness community classes. Samantha is also the Co-director of the volunteer services program Healing Harmony.
Offering therapeutic, evidence-based interventions with a focus on quality of life is her driven focus in her practice as a music therapist. When not practicing, Samantha enjoys performing in local venues as well as spending time on the lake.
