Jessica (Jess) Grimm, MA, ATR-P

Jessica (Jess) Grimm, MA, ATR-P, is a registered art therapist-provisional and is the community art therapist at University Hospitals Connor Whole Health, serving the surrounding communities at 14 locations. Jess provides art therapy to adults, children and teens through medically focused groups, family groups, teen groups and adult community groups.

Jess received her master’s degree in art therapy and counseling from Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio. She has provided art therapy for children in underserved areas in Cleveland, a Native American reservation in South Dakota, South Africa and Nepal. She provides art therapy within the homeless community and substance abuse intensive outpatient program (IOP) groups. Jess has always been drawn to the community group setting for art therapy, and as a community art therapist with UH Connor Whole Health, she is able to continue what she is passionate about.

Jess offers a mindfulness-based approach through her art interventions. This approach can help people deal with many different types of pain more effectively, reducing stress and developing self-awareness and coping skills.

In her spare time, Jess enjoys sewing, teaching Yoga, and incorporating her own Yoga practice into her everyday routine.
