Lauren knows pediatric cancer all too well. She’s been fighting for 13 years. At 18 months old, Lauren was diagnosed with cancer of her adrenal gland, which was then removed. At 9 years old, Lauren received the news that she had a brain tumor, which was also then removed through surgery. Recently, Lauren was diagnosed a third time with extraskeletal osteosarcoma and is undergoing chemotherapy. Throughout her battle with pediatric cancer, Lauren has relied heavily on her friends, family and second family – the doctors and hospital staff.
