Education & Training

The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital, in collaboration with Case Western Reserve University, afford our fellows unique educational opportunities and exposure to a broad range of clinical, scholarly, teaching, administrative and advocacy experiences. These experiences enable each of our fellows to build solid foundations for successful careers in pediatric emergency medicine.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

The UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine is committed to fostering leaders across all domains of pediatric emergency medicine. Central to our mission is recruiting and training a diverse group of fellows with varied backgrounds, experiences, interests, and perspectives, as they represent the future of our subspecialty. We celebrate the diversity that exists on multiple dimensions within our current fellows, faculty, and staff.  We encourage individuals from all backgrounds, including those from backgrounds historically underrepresented in medicine, to join our program.

We believe that celebrating diversity among our trainees, faculty, and staff enhances our work environment, expands our educational perspectives, promotes innovation and excellence, and improves the quality of the clinical care that we provide for all of our patients and their families. We are committed to building and sustaining a safe and diverse environment in which all are included, respected, appreciated, and supported as they learn, teach, serve, and discover.
