Before and During Your Visit
How to Prepare for a Video Visit
Before your virtual video visit, track your symptoms and note when they started. Monitor your temperature, and any other vitals you can measure at home. Have a list of chronic conditions and medications available, with pill bottles nearby. Prepare any questions you’d like to ask your doctor. It may be helpful to have a family member nearby to assist, and be sure your device is fully charged before the visit.
How to Start an On Demand Virtual Care Visit
To begin, you'll need a device with internet, your insurance or credit card, and to be physically located in Ohio. Log in to your MyChart account and select “On Demand Virtual Care” from the Get Care section.
Introducing E-Visits
If now is not the right time for a video visit, you can select our E-Visit option for many mild to moderate illnesses and skin conditions.
What to Expect During Your Visit
During your virtual visit, your provider will ask about your symptoms, medical history, and any concerns you have. They will also review any medications you’re taking. If you have a rash, your provider may request to see it on camera. Based on the evaluation, they will diagnose your condition, recommend treatment, and prescribe medication if clinically necessary.
