How to Start an On Demand Virtual Care Visit

To begin, you'll need a device with internet, your insurance or credit card, and to be in Ohio. Log in to your MyChart account and select “On Demand Virtual Care” from the Get Care section.

UH On Demand Virtual Care should not be used for medical emergencies. Please call 9-1-1 or visit your nearest emergency room if you are experiencing serious symptoms such as chest pain, difficulty breathing or uncontrolled bleeding.

Immediate Treatment for Common Illness

UH On Demand Virtual Care is perfect for treating conditions that require care but do not need in-person procedures or tests, such as:

  • Allergies and sinus issues
  • Cold, flu, COVID-19 and cough
  • Ear pain (adults 18 years old and older)1
  • Headache
  • Stomach ache, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
  • Pinkeye
  • Rash and skin condition
  • Sore throat1
  • Urinary tract infections1

UH On Demand Virtual Care visits cost $65 for self-pay. With insurance, you'll be billed at your plan's rate. Most plans apply visits to your deductible or cover part. UH caregivers, check your benefits.
