Application and Admissions Process
Admission information
Admission to the Neonatal Transition to Practice Program is based on three basic parameters: (1) academic achievement assessed from college/program records; (2) interpersonal skills as noted in letters of recommendations and personal interview; (3) a strong desire to work in neonatology. No person is excluded from considerations on grounds of sex, race, and/or religious belief.
All applicants are reviewed by a panel of the administrative staff, NICU attendings and APPs. Candidates are selected for interview based on an evaluation of their academic record, curriculum vitae, personal statement, and letters of recommendation.
