Otolaryngology medical education at University Hospitals, in collaboration with Case Western Reserve University, is one of the premier departments in the country for diagnosing and treating ENT disorders, clinical training and otolaryngology research. The Department of Otolaryngology offers a range of opportunities for comprehensive clinical training including a residency program, fellowships, medical student rotations and continuing medical education (CME) programs:

Otolaryngology Residency Program
Our Otolaryngology Residency Program is a five-year extensive clinical training program that provides the knowledge and experience to diagnose and treat the full range of ENT disorders, including the surgical management of ENT conditions and diseases. As a critical component of comprehensive otolaryngology learning, our residents participate in research and national ENT conferences to enhance learning.

Advanced ENT Training through Fellowship Programs
For advanced ENT surgical training, we offer a fellowship with advanced training and experience in a wide range of head and neck surgical procedures and techniques. In addition, our Clinical Research Fellowship provides the opportunity for fellows to work within our nationally funded otolaryngology research program to advance the care of conditions affecting the ear, nose and throat.
