Critical Care Fellowship
Curriculum
We offer a comprehensive critical care experience through our various rotations. The great majority of your time as a fellow is spent in the SICU and CTICU. Through these rotations the bulk of your post-surgical critical care education is realized. Additional critical care time in both mixed medical and surgical populations occur in the Neuro ICU as well as community ICU.
On both your Medical ICU and Heart Failure ICU rotations, you have the opportunity to care for critical ill primary medical patients. A variety of electives are available. Many of our trainees obtain the numbers and experience to sit for and becoming certified in Basic TEE through the American Board of Echocardiography.
