Multidisciplinary Aerodigestive Center including pediatric otolaryngologists, pediatric pulmonologists, pediatric gastroenterologists and a speech pathologist
Participates in the multicenter NIH-sponsored PATS study researching tonsillectomy for snoring in children
Created center for clinical research into hearing loss due to enlarged vestibular aqueduct (EVA), including a patient registry
Only area center to offer the INSPIRE implant to treat pediatric obstructive sleep apnea in children with Down syndrome
Offers noninvasive techniques such as balloon dilation to treat pediatric airway stenosis
Offers endoscopic ear surgery to treat tympanic membrane perforations or cholesteatomas
Operates out of multiple sites, including UH main campus, UH Ahuja Medical Center, and UH Lyndhurst, Mentor and Westlake surgery centers for ease of patient access
