Our commitment to Community Health traces back to our founders, who pledged that the most needy should be considered the most worthy. Since 2008, University Hospitals has invested nearly $5 billion in our community and $531 million in 2022 alone. To ensure we remain focused and maximize our potential for impact, we established three priority areas:

Through our Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNA), we’ve identified the greatest health needs among each of our hospital’s communities, enabling us to ensure our resources are appropriately directed toward outreach, prevention, education and wellness opportunities where the greatest impact can be realized.
Community Wellness Center Locations
Healing is at the core of our mission. Through a comprehensive approach to health and wellness, our Community Wellness Centers will offer better care, education and support resources to underserved communities adversely impacted by diseases, health disparities and socioeconomic barriers to optimal health.
