Gastroenterology Fellowship, Pediatric
Fellowship Programs Mission
The mission of our Fellowship Training Program mirrors that of the American College of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the American Board of Pediatrics, which is to train academic physicians who will become leaders in their respective fields. It is our aim to provide each fellow with a solid foundation in clinical medicine as well as research. Our research experiences are varied and trainees have the opportunity to pursue different areas of focus, such as bench, clinical or translational research depending on their area of interest. These critical components of the programs, both clinical and research, allow our trainees to advance in many areas. Our former fellows take academic positions at top-ranked pediatric institutions as well as head subspecialty divisions and pediatric departments.
Fellowship positions are open to candidates who have completed at least three years of training in general pediatrics.
