Most of the time, infectious diseases and other mysterious fevers and illnesses can be cleared up quickly once your child receives a proper diagnosis. At University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital, our division begins caring for your child by providing a thorough examination to help you and your pediatrician determine what’s going on. We then begin to treat your child immediately with the most up-to-date antibiotics, anti-viral medications or other appropriate and effective therapies. If your child’s condition turns out to be more serious, such as cancer or HIV for example, our medical team will make sure that your child receives the care and compassion he needs.
