Nephrology Medical Education
Nephrology medical education at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center is a comprehensive nephrology training program, including tracks in both clinical training and research.
At the completion of their training, fellows will demonstrate the expected performance in accordance with the core Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) competencies and the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) subspecialty requirements for nephrology.

- Nephrology Fellowship Program

The nephrology training program includes six clinical fellows and provides the most advanced nephrology training in all aspects of clinical practice, research and education.
- Transplant Nephrology Fellowship Program

A separate fellowship program, in Transplant Nephrology, accredited by the American Society of Transplantation trains one fellow per year in transplant nephrology. This integrated program offers intensive clinical experience through exposure to all aspects of transplant nephrology in a diverse patient population.
