Visitors
UH Avon Rehabilitation Hospital features open visitation hours for patient families, friends and guests. To maximize patient rest-time, when not in therapy, guests are encouraged to visit patients between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Family and friends of patients admitted to UH Avon Rehabilitation Hospital are encouraged to visit during visitation hours when appropriate. However, since the rehabilitation care for each patient is individually customized based on need, visitation hours may be limited when necessary. For example, patients who suffer from certain brain injuries need to restrict daily distractions to aid in the recovery process.
The UH Avon Rehabilitation Hospital physicians and staff will work closely with the family and friends of each patient to determine suitable visiting hours.
