- Prescriptions
-
UH MyChart allows us to e-prescribe any prescriptions at your appointment within seconds. This will allow us to keep better track of all medications you are currently or have been taking, even if prescribed by another office. For prescription refills please try to give as much advance notice as possible; feel free to leave a message for the nurse, we ask that for most refills your child's physical is up-to-date.
Medications that are more closely regulated by the FDA have different requirements for prescribers. We are required by law to see your child regularly to monitor medication use and usefulness.

- Insurance Message
-
We accept most insurance carriers. Please contact our billing office at 216-991-4171 with any specific questions in this regard.
Our office is capable of submitting most insurance claims directly to your insurance carrier, provided you have supplied us with the appropriate information and authorization. All HMO and PPO claims will be submitted by our billing office. In order for us to help you get the maximum reimbursement from your insurance carrier, we must be aware of any changes in your coverage or personal information. For this reason, you may frequently be asked to supply current insurance cards and to update your personal information.
Your specific insurance contract defines to what extent your insurer can reimburse you or your physician for the expense of medical care, and what co-payments (if any) are required.
