UH Pediatric Clinical Update - March 2019

The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology & Metabolism provides consultation and comprehensive care for children and adolescents with a variety of acute and chronic conditions of the endocrine system.  A specialized multidisciplinary team approach is available for diabetes mellitus, growth disorders, thyroid problems, adrenal gland disorders, obesity, pituitary gland disorders, adolescent hormonal issues, puberty timing, calcium problems, hypoglycemia, nutritional disorders and newborn screening abnormalities.  Focused specialty clinics for type 1 and type 2 diabetes, obesity, trans and gender nonconforming youth, as well as new medications and technology for management of diseases are supported within the Division.

Pediatric Endocrinology Clinics are located throughout the Cleveland region with easy and rapid access for patients.
