Pediatric Cancer Research at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital
December 01, 2016
Alex Huang, MD, a leading pediatric oncologist and clinician-scientist at Angie’s Institute at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, assists his patients while also running an onsite research lab. The goal: to radically improve the way we treat cancer in children, teens and young adults by using our best defense – the immune system. His efforts are inspired by patients, such as Keira Kilbane, who lost her battle against leukemia at age 3.
