Our vision is to be the trusted partner in cardiac adjudication for studies worldwide, driving scientific excellence and improving patient outcomes.
Getting Started: The Cardiac Adjudication Committee Process
The Cardiac Adjudication Committee (CARD-SAC) plays a vital role in the success of clinical trials. We structure our Cardiac Adjudication Committee (CAC) to fit the specific needs of each study, ensuring that the adjudication process is both comprehensive and efficient.
Our Cardiac Adjudication Committee includes:
- Faculty Cardiologists: Serving as Chairpersons, these experts are highly experienced and affiliated with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
- Physician Reviewers: With at least two Physician Reviewers on each Committee or Subcommittee, our team ensures that each study’s needs are met with expertise from different disciplines such as cardiology, nephrology, rheumatology, and infectious diseases.
- Subcommittees: When necessary, we form Sbcommittees with specialized experts to address particular study areas, ensuring a thorough and focused review.
Each study follows a customized adjudication process, tailored to its unique requirements. The CAC works in collaboration with the research team to deliver precise, reliable results that uphold the integrity of your study.
Why Use a Cardiac Adjudication Committee? Blinded, Unbiased Reviews
By using a CAC, you can ensure a blinded and unbiased review of suspected clinical outcomes and adverse events. This is crucial for reducing variability, especially in studies where outcomes are subjective or complex.
Benefits of a CAC include:
- Enhanced consistency in multicenter trials with large enrollments.
- Optimized data quality, leading to more reliable conclusions.
- A standardized review process that improves safety and efficacy analyses.
Our team provides transparency, ensuring that the results of each study are classified based on strict adherence to the study protocol.
