University Hospitals Offers Healing through Musical Harmony
Through the Healing Harmony Friday Concert Series, University Hospitals Connor Whole Health highlights the talent of the local music scene while bringing the gift of music to patients, families, visitors, and staff. As part of our philosophy that music plays an important role in the healing process, this program offers the opportunity to reduce anxiety and promote healing through music. Curated by Expressive Therapies Program Coordinator, Jason Meyers, Healing Harmony takes place in the UH Cleveland Medical Center Atrium on Fridays at 12:00 p.m. Concerts are simulcast live on Zoom.
Share Musical Talents for Improved Well-Being
Volunteers with the Healing Harmony Friday Concert Series have the opportunity to share their musical talents with a grateful audience. Patients, visitors, and UH caregivers benefit from a soothing environment, while volunteers benefit from the joy of sharing their musical talent with others, one note at a time.
