Volunteer Opportunities through University Hospitals Connor Whole Health
Volunteers can make a positive impact with patients and families at University Hospitals. Through our volunteer programs, our patients, friends and families are provided warmth and comfort to help them toward well-being.
Healing Harmony plays an important role in the healing process as volunteers provide soothing musical selections, vocal or instrumental. The enjoyment of music can reduce patient’s anxiety and promote well-being.
Volunteer Requirements
If you or someone you know would like to share your talents and make a difference in the lives of others, please consider volunteering through these programs. Specific program volunteer requirements may vary, but generally, volunteers should have:
- Caring and enthusiasm
- Relate well to patients as well as staff and guests
- Ability to attend our volunteer orientation
- Ability to contribute at least 1-2 hours of your time per week
As part of our established volunteering program, all volunteer applicants must also undergo a background check and 2-step tuberculosis (TB) test prior to beginning volunteer service.
