The specialists at University Hospitals and UH Seidman Cancer Center collaborate to provide diagnostic and comprehensive treatment options for a wide variety of cancer diagnoses. For instance, colorectal cancer, lung cancer and esophageal cancer are managed by our experts in the Department of Surgery, within the Divisions of Colorectal and Thoracic Surgery.

A Center of Excellence for Pancreatic Cancer
UH Seidman Cancer Center has been nationally recognized as an Academic Center of Excellence by the National Pancreas Foundation (NPF). Following a rigorous audit review, NPF Centers are awarded for multidisciplinary treatment of pancreatic cancer with a focus on the best possible outcomes and improved quality of life. These Centers of Excellence combine the expertise of pancreas surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, gastroenterologists and interventional radiologists, along with patient-focused programs such as pain management, psychosocial support and nutrition.
