- Multidisciplinary Aerodigestive Center including pediatric otolaryngologists, pediatric pulmonologists, pediatric gastroenterologists and a speech pathologist
- Participates in the multicenter NIH-sponsored PATS study researching tonsillectomy for snoring in children
- Created center for clinical research into hearing loss due to enlarged vestibular aqueduct (EVA), including a patient registry
- Only area center to offer the INSPIRE implant to treat pediatric obstructive sleep apnea in children with Down syndrome
- Offers noninvasive techniques such as balloon dilation to treat pediatric airway stenosis
- Offers endoscopic ear surgery to treat tympanic membrane perforations or cholesteatomas
- Operates out of multiple sites, including UH main campus, UH Ahuja Medical Center, and UH Lyndhurst, Mentor and Westlake surgery centers for ease of patient access*
