Family Medicine Residency Program at UH Geauga Medical Center's Department of Medical Education

The ACGME accredited Family Medicine Residency Program offered by University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center's Department of Medical Education has trained osteopathic physicians for over 30 years. It is one of the longest-running learning programs of its kind in Northeast Ohio. The three-year residency features core rotations at multiple sites and an optimum balance of academic training and hands-on experiences.

Greetings,

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our Family Medicine Residency program at UH Regionals Hospitals. We are part of the University Hospitals Community Consortium, which consists of UH Geauga Medical Center, UH St. John Medical Center and UH Parma Medical Center. As part of University Hospitals, we have the advantage of twelve hospitals including UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.

Our program provides training to residents in rural, suburban and urban settings, which allows for an excellent diverse education. We have a dedicated well-rounded faculty that is passionate about teaching but also realizing the importance of the well-being of each resident. Even though we are part of a large health system with many hospitals and residents, the Family Medicine program at UH Geauga maintains a family-friendly environment.
