Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship
University Hospitals, in collaboration with Case Western Reserve University, offers a one-year ACGME-accredited Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology (AHFTC) fellowship. Our program allows fellows to develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes leading to proficiency in all domains of AHFTC in a graded and progressive manner, under direct supervision by expert medical and surgical faculty members. Participating in the fellowship enables the trainee to become an independent AHFTC physician, and be eligible for American Board of Internal Medicine AHFTC certification.
University Hospitals offers an exceptional environment to grow and learn. We have the facilities, staff and faculty, and resources to help our fellows achieve excellence in their areas of interest. Graduates of our program have successfully pursued a variety of careers in academic, private, or community practice. Many have gone on to become clinical program leaders, educators, and/or researchers. Our faculty are members of multiple national and international heart failure and transplantation related societies and have deep networks in the field which can be leveraged by our fellows to achieve their goals.
We thank you for your interest in our program. This is an exciting time to join the AFHTC Fellowship at University Hospitals and Case Western Reserve University. We are excited to welcome you to our world-class team.
