How to Apply
Preventive Medicine Residency Eligibility Requirements
To apply for the categorical Preventive Medicine Residency Program at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, residents must have completed at least one year of postgraduate clinical training in a residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
For those interested in Preventive Medicine Residency openings, you may apply through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS).
We do not currently offer an internship year as part of our categorical Preventive Medicine Program, although there is a combined Family and Preventive Medicine Program for those who are interested.
Limited Availability of Interviews
Due to a limited number of interview slots, candidates are encouraged to apply early. Applications for our categorical PGY2 positions are accepted through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS).
Our program does not participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). We participate in the ACPM Standardized Acceptance Process (SAP).
