Ensuring guests have all the services they need during their visit is one way we work to provide a less stressful hospital experience. With this goal in mind, we offer the following amenities:

On-Site Dining

UH St. John Medical Center’s Cafeteria, located on the main level of the hospital, is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The cafeteria offers hot meals including healthy choice entrees, as well as carry-out deli and salad selections.

Free Wi-Fi

UH St. John Medical Center offers free wireless high-speed internet for patients and visitors. To connect, please follow these steps:

• Turn on your WiFi-enabled device: smartphone, tablet or laptop.
• Connect to the wireless network UH_Guest.
• Launch the web browser and go to the website www.UHhospitals.org.
• Read the user agreement and click Accept.
• If you do not see a UH welcome page, you may need to configure the SSID or network name to UH_Guest.

Gift Shop

Located just off the main lobby near the hospital's entrance, our Gift Shop is operated by the St. John Hospital Auxiliary. Choose from fresh flowers or balloons, plus a large selection of jewelry, inspirational items and seasonal items to brighten any patient’s day. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and Discover.

Pastoral Care for Spiritual Needs

UH St. John Medical Center is the only Catholic hospital in the University Hospitals system. As such, we work closely with the Bishop of the Diocese of Cleveland as well as UH system leadership. We combine the very best medical care with the spiritual nourishment and healing that faith provides. Eucharistic Ministers visit Catholic patients daily and offer communion. The sacrament of reconciliation (confession) is available upon request.

Lost and Found

If a guest finds an item that does not belong to them or is missing an item that may have been left in the hospital, please call Protective Services at extension 75044 or 440-827-5044 from outside the hospital.
