Advanced Training in Foot and Ankle Surgery
This podiatric fellowship is one of two offered by UH Geauga Medical Center. The Podiatric Advanced Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery program is one of only a select few in the U.S. recognized and approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education.
The program began in 2010 as an advanced fourth-year fellowship; the participant must be a graduate of a three-year residency program. Currently, candidates are interviewed and we now accept two fellows. The two-year fellowship will include surgical, clinical and research exposure.

Program Director
Curriculum & Features
The fellowship offers an extensive training curriculum that goes beyond basic podiatric surgical techniques. Fellows gain hands-on experience in the specialized surgical treatment of lower extremity trauma and rear foot and ankle reconstruction. This immersive, one-on-one experience in the operating room with the program’s attending director focuses on each fellow’s individual clinical interests. Participants provide surgical care at multiple University Hospitals medical centers and surgery centers, spanning urban, suburban, and rural environments across Northeast Ohio.
