The Department of Medical Education at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center supports the University Hospitals Community Consortium's medical education training programs in Geauga, Ohio. Having the resources of a nationally known healthcare system provides excellent opportunities for our student programs. We offer a variety of internships, residencies and fellowships that incorporate medical and surgical experience in a variety of settings, as well as ample opportunities for further education and research. Our interns, residents and fellows receive extensive training under the supervision of some of the foremost experts in their respective fields. Our programs are affiliated with the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Our top tier training programs are overseen by the American College of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), American Osteopathic Association (AOA), and the Council of Podiatric Medical Education (CPME).
Training Programs
The Medical Education program at UH Geauga Medical Center offers a traditionally rotating internship, as well as residencies and fellowships in specialties such as family medicine, internal medicine, dermatology, emergency medicine, podiatry, sports medicine and allergy/immunology.
