Ensuring guests have all the services they need during their visit is one way we work to provide a less stressful hospital experience. With this goal in mind, we offer the following amenities:

On-Site Dining

UH Parma Medical Center’s Cafeteria is located on the ground floor between the auditorium and the main elevators. The cafeteria offers hot meals, healthy choice entrees, as well as carry-out deli and salad selections.

The daily menu is available on the menu hotline at 440-743-4321.

Free Wi-Fi

UH Parma Medical Center offers free wireless high-speed internet for patients and visitors. To connect, please follow these steps:

• Turn on your WiFi-enabled device: smartphone, tablet or laptop.
• Connect to the wireless network UH_Guest.
• Launch the web browser and go to the website www.UHhospitals.org.
• Read the user agreement and click Accept.
• If you do not see a UH welcome page, you may need to configure the SSID or network name to UH_Guest.

Gift Shop

Located just off the main lobby near the hospital's entrance, our Gift Shop is operated by the Parma Hospital Auxiliary. Choose from fresh flowers or balloons, plus a large selection of jewelry, inspirational items, and seasonal items to brighten any patient’s day. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and Discover.

Pastoral Care for Spiritual Needs

Upon admission, patients may request that their faith community be notified of their admission to UH Parma Medical Center. UH Parma also offers the services of our chaplains to provide emotional and spiritual support by:

• Handling the special needs of the elderly, the depressed, the lonely and the terminally ill
• Listening actively and understanding the stress of hospitalization
• Praying upon request and offering comfort and care
• Visiting patients and their families during hospital stays
• Administration of sacraments
• Consult in patient care conferences and assist in ethical decision making

Spiritual care aides are also available to support patients. These are carefully screened and trained volunteers who serve as spiritual friends to patients and their families.

The Chapel at UH Parma Medical Center

An interfaith chapel is located in the hospital’s main lobby behind the Information Desk and is always open for prayer and meditation. Prayer request forms are available in the waiting areas on each floor.

Lost and Found

If a guest finds an item that does not belong to them or is missing an item that may have been left in the hospital, please call Protective Services at extension 2139 or 440-743-2139 from outside the hospital.
