Trauma Services at UH Geauga Medical Center
The trauma center at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center holds a Level III verification status from the American College of Surgeons (ACS). This means we offer comprehensive 24-hour coverage by emergency medicine physicians as well as access to general surgeons, anesthesiologists and other trauma staff. Our trauma team provides patient assessment, emergency care, surgery and intensive care services.
Should a patient require more advanced care for a traumatic injury, we have direct access to the Level I trauma center at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. We will work to coordinate care with the trauma experts at UH Cleveland Medical Center, stabilizing and transporting the patient for further treatment.
