Other Amenities at UH Geauga Medical Center

Ensuring guests have all the services they need during their visit is one way we work to provide a less stressful hospital experience. With this goal in mind, we offer the following amenities:

Onsite Dining

Dining options at UH Geauga Medical Center include our cafeteria, with convenient hours and a wide array of meal selections, as well as 24-hour vending machine options.

Visitors who would like to order a room service meal and eat with a patient can pre-purchase a meal in the Café. The visitor simply asks the cashier for a $5 guest tray ticket and pays by cash or credit card. Be sure to save the receipt. The visitor can then order through the At-Your-Request Room Service line, just as a patient would. When meals are delivered, the receipt is exchanged for the guest tray.

Free Wi-Fi

UH Geauga Medical Center offers free wireless high-speed internet for patients and visitors. To connect, please follow these steps:

• Turn on your WiFi-enabled device: smartphone, tablet or laptop.
• Connect to the wireless network UH_Guest.
• Launch the web browser and go to the website www.UHhospitals.org.
• Read the user agreement and click Accept.
• If you do not see a UH welcome page, you may need to configure the SSID or network name to UH_Guest.

Wish-U-Well Gift Shop

We strive to anticipate the needs of patients, families, guests and staff by providing a wide range of merchandise at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center gift shop. Our gift store is located just off the main lobby on the first floor and staffed by volunteers. The shop offers:

• Fresh flower arrangements, plants and bud vases
• Large card and stationery section offering cards for every occasion
• Magazines, newspapers and books
• Plush toys, balloons and gifts
• Candy and snacks

Same-day patient delivery at no extra charge. MasterCard, Visa, Discover, debit cards and cash accepted. Proceeds from all purchases benefit the Auxiliary of UH Geauga Medical Center.

Pastoral Care for Spiritual Needs

A nondenominational chapel is located on the first floor, off the main lobby across from Patient Registration. Open 24 hours, seven days a week, the chapel offers a quiet respite for guests. Spiritual books, including Bibles, are available upon request. A listing of area churches and religious establishments is also available.

Lost and Found

If a guest finds an item that does not belong to them or is missing an item that may have been left in the hospital, please dial “0” from any hospital phone to reach Protective Services.
