Other Amenities at UH Elyria Medical Center

Ensuring guests have all the services they need during their visit is one way we work to provide a less stressful hospital experience. With this goal in mind, we offer the following amenities:

Cascade Perk Coffee Shop

UH Elyria’s Cascade Perk is now open 24 hours with their Micro Market.

During the hours of 6 a.m. – 4 p.m. staff provide Starbucks beverages and prepare the specials of the day. Once staff is gone, the Micro Market offers freshly made salads, sandwiches, wraps, fruit, snacks, hummus, yogurts, bottled beverages, and brewed Starbucks. It’s as easy as scanning a barcode on each item and paying by either credit card or staff can pay with payroll deduction.

Onsite Pharmacy

Gates Pharmacy is located in the Gates Medical Building on UH Elyria Medical Center’s campus. Gates Pharmacy also provides online services, including:

• Prescription refills
• Real-time reviews of medication profiles

Free Wi-Fi

UH Elyria Medical Center offers free wireless high-speed internet for patients and visitors. To connect, please follow these steps:

• Turn on your WiFi-enabled device: smartphone, tablet or laptop.
• Connect to the wireless network UH_Guest.
• Launch the web browser and go to the website www.UHhospitals.org.
• Read the user agreement and click Accept.
• If you do not see a UH welcome page, you may need to configure the SSID or network name to UH_Guest.

Gift Shop

Conveniently located on the first floor of the hospital, UH Elyria Medical Center’s Gift Shop offers a unique collection of gifts, flower arrangements and cards, magazines, books and sundries. The shop is run by UH Elyria Medical Center Auxiliary and all proceeds are invested in patient care services.

Hours: Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Pastoral Care for Spiritual Needs

University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center is committed to total patient care, which includes attention to the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of each patient in collaboration with their healthcare team. Our chaplain and associate chaplains are available to assist and nurture hope within the spiritual and religious traditions of our patients and families.

UH Elyria Medical Center Chapel

The Elyria Medical Center Chapel, located on the first floor of the hospital, is open to people of all faiths for prayer, meditation and reflection.

Automated Teller Machines (ATMs)

For the convenience of our patients and visitors, UH Elyria Medical Center has two ATM machines (Huntington and LorMet Community Credit Union) located on the main level, just past the Gift Shop.

Lost and Found

If a guest finds an item that does not belong to them or is missing an item that may have been left in the hospital, please call Protective Services at Ext. 7669 or 440-329-7669 from outside the hospital.
