Smoking Policy: Smoking and/or the use of any tobacco products is not permitted anywhere in the hospital or on UH Beachwood Medical Center property. Your doctor can order patches or medication to help you through your hospitalization without cigarettes.
Service Animals: In public areas of all facilities we welcome guide dogs, signal dogs and other animals trained to perform tasks for a person with a disability. Patients who are admitted cannot bring animals into certain areas, such as the operating or procedure rooms. Patients or visitors with service animals assume responsibility for the care, feeding and sanitary needs of the animal.
Fire Safety: We periodically conduct fire drills. If you hear an alarm, stay where you are. In the event of an actual emergency, you will be notified by hospital staff.
Pre-admission Testing
Before you come to UH Beachwood Medical Center for a surgery, your doctor may order pre-admission testing (PAT). These tests help our team ensure your safety and comfort during surgery, as well as during recovery. We'll also ask you questions about your medical history and medications. Please bring your photo ID and current insurance card to your PAT visit. To schedule your pre-admission testing, call 216-545-4871.
Appointments are available Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.
