The second session of this series will explore how the neighborhood a person lives in can impact heart and metabolic health. The discussion will include how community-based research can create solutions for challenges in resource-limited areas. Additionally, the session will explore how science can reveal how difficult social conditions might affect heart health and metabolic related issues.

This webinar series features a different topic each month to educate and provide resources for both patients and practicing providers. University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute's Center for Integrated and Novel Approaches in Vascular-Metabolic Disease (CINEMA) is a unique cardiometabolic program focused on managing overlapping conditions of diabetes, heart and kidney disease.
