The eighth session of this series will discuss moving the focus of disease management to health promotion to address the epidemic of cardiometabolic diseases. As part, the importance of visceral adiposity and ectopic fat depots as key drivers of health risk in obesity and relevance of targeting key “lifestyle vital signs” will be reviewed.
