Coordinating Emergency Care Throughout University Hospitals
The University Hospitals Center for Emergency Medicine Division of Clinical Operations and Administration strives to support and sustain efficient, equitable, and excellent emergency medical care.
Our division collaborates with emergency medicine leaders throughout the system to coordinate emergency care across our system’s 13 hospitals as well as with multiple other service line leaders to improve the continuum of care we provide for our patients.
The division also operates the Emergency Medicine Clinical Operations and Administration Fellowship program. The fellowship is designed to provide a two-year immersive leadership experience developing the skills necessary to become a transformative leader in emergency medicine and beyond.
Residency Clinical Operations and Administration Clerkship: Interested residents may choose to participate in a 2-week elective offering exposure to departmental operations, informatics, quality, and interdepartmental collaboration.
Resident Assistant Medical Director (RAMD): Third year residents with an interest in operations may apply to be the resident assistant medical director for their senior year.
