The VITALS | Visionary Health Leadership in Action speaker series features a diverse range of experiences by innovative leaders in the medical sector. Speakers range from regional University partners — public, private and health care systems — to national peers, alumni and thought leaders, each discussing leadership challenges and solutions in their respective health care sectors past, present and future.
All sessions run from noon to 1 p.m. and will be livestreamed over Zoom. Where noted, select sessions will be held in Watanakunakorn Auditorium on the NEOMED campus. Registration is required. Sessions are free and open to the public.

The CME program at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine has over 25 years of experience working with referral agencies to develop intensive, skill based, remedial continuing medical education offerings in the areas of controlled drug prescribing, medical record keeping, doctor patient communication skills and professional ethics. To date, this series of 4 remedial courses has received referrals from almost 50 different licensing agencies, physician state associations and health care agencies.
We have developed and refined our ability to: 1.) Assess learning needs on an aggregate basis, relying in part on data obtained from referring groups such as state medical boards concerning areas of acute learning need, resulting in an educational focus on specific deficits of knowledge, attitudes and skills; 2.) Plan instructional materials and activities uniquely suited to the knowledge and skill sets targeted while at the same time striving to accommodate varied learning styles; 3.) Integrate teaching from multiple specialties; 4.) Incorporate strategies to limit course costs to minimize the impact on course participants.
On demand enduring CME opportunities are available through the UH/CWRU Program site at cwru.cloud.cme.com.
