The folks in that office are lovely, friendly, competent. I usually MyChart and follow up with a phone call leaving a voicemail. Even if the assistant to Jean is out that day, another nurse follows up replying to my urgent message and I can get an appointment. Jean Marino, my provider, is wonderful--kind, knowledgeable, understanding my concern for the problems I have. Even is she is out of the office, she gets back to me immediately on her return.

She is absolutely amazing. I recommend her to all of my friends and coworkers. One of my biggest fears is getting a Pap smear and my provider was incredibly respectful of my fear and talked me through the whole thing. It wasn't even painful like I was expecting. I cannot say enough good things about Jean Marino. She is a valuable asset at UH.

Dr. Marino was absolutely awesome! She took the time to recommend med(s) change that are in the best interest of me. She is so professional, wise and awesome. The nurse and the front desk team were also awesome as well. Another great addition to my medical team.

I was referred for a mammography. I scheduled and went to the appointment. Unfortunately, I was turned away because it had not been a full year since my last mammogram. This was very inconvenient but everyone involved was very nice to me. I felt cared for!

This was my 1st time seeing this provider and she was amazing! I'm actually thinking about switching to her because she was so friendly and she listened to me and seemed to really care! In the future if I have an issue I would definitely ask to see her again!

Dr. Marino was excellent and took the time to talk with me and help me and address the Issues I'm struggling with. She encouraged me and told me there are treatments to help me. I appreciate a doctor who takes the time to listen and makes me feel like she cares about me and my medical needs instead of rushing me out of the office in 5 minutes.

Jean is a consummate professional! Caring and kind, she exudes compassion! It took a while to have an appointment with her and now I know why! Everywhere I go, the gym, work, grocery store, I meet people who sing her praises. You cannot go wrong with her - especially if you're approaching or post menopausal!

This visit was really one of the best I have had. I came in for my time, checked in, and seen right away. The provider was really caring and understanding, very patient with me and helped me through discomfort during screening exam. It was my first visit to her, but I really liked her, and I will be happy to continue seeing her. She also provided some good follow up information.

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually.
