Forbes Names UH One of America’s Best Large Employers in 2022

UH Earned Highest Ranking Among Ohio’s Comprehensive Health Systems

Forbes has once again recognized University Hospitals as a great place to work, naming us to their 2022 list of America’s Best Large Employers. UH earned the highest ranking among comprehensive health systems in Ohio and ranked 60th in the nation overall, which is a reflection on the great work of our more than 30,000 caregivers and the culture all have worked so hard to create.

Additionally, this is a testament to our caregivers who diligently and compassionately cared for each other while also prioritizing the needs of our patients and communities throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, despite the many challenges we faced.

The accolade was based on an anonymous survey of approximately 60,000 individuals working for companies across all industry sectors employing at least 5,000 people in their U.S. operations. Respondents were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to their friends or family and to evaluate a number of other characteristics, including working conditions, development opportunities and company image.
