Study Purpose

The purpose is to determine if our skin alpha-synuclein assay will differentiate Parkinson's disease, multiple system atrophy, and dementia with Lewy bodies from tauopathies progressive supranuclear palsy and corticobasal syndrome and controls. The objective is to develop a skin test for PD and parkinsonism.
