Study Purpose
The purpose of this randomized control trial is to examine the feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary efficacy of a music therapy intervention as compared to usual care. This study will compare health outcomes and readmission rates between (1) patients who receive 2 sessions of in-person music therapy during their hospital admission and 2 music therapy sessions post-discharge along with their usual care to (2) patients who receive usual care only.
