Using mHealth to improve adherence and reduce blood pressure in individuals with hypertension and bipolar disorder

Study Purpose

This research study aims to understand how effectively a personalized texting-based intervention and self-monitoring of symptoms can help people with both high blood pressure and bipolar disorder remember to take their medication. Potential participants must have high blood pressure and bipolar disorder, have recently missed taking some medication, and own their own cellphone to receive the texts.
