Study Purpose
The purpose of this research study is to learn if using dual-energy CT scans will help in selecting the area in which valves should be placed. Researchers believe that using dual-energy CT scans may be a better way to assess blood flow to your lungs, which is important for planning a valve procedure.
Who Can Participate
Participants diagnosed with emphysema (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or COPD) and are being evaluated for treatment with valves may be eligible for this study.
