Study Purpose

The purpose of this study is to encourage participants with type 2 diabetes to explore alternative treatments than sulfonylureas with their primary care provider. The aim is to educate patients about alternative diabetes treatments and how to talk to their doctor about them. Some participants will be asked to participate in a qualitative interview portion of the study. A qualitative interview is an open-ended response to a question. Participants are asked open-ended question and can provide as little or as much detail in their response as they want.

Who Can Participate

Participants 45 years or older with type 2 diabetes may be eligible for this study.
