Hepatology Research Program

At present, our clinical trial offerings for patients with chronic liver diseases have focused on non-alcohol fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and primary biliary cholangitis (PBC). We are actively participating in studies for the treatment of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). We continue to commit to patients with primary biliary cholangitis (PBC). We will be participating in upcoming clinical trials to treat PBC as these studies become available.

In the recent past, we have participated in studies for hospitalized patients with advanced cirrhosis complications, such as hepatorenal syndrome (HRS) and alcohol-related hepatitis. We continue in our commitment to caring for patients with advanced liver disease and will be participating in future clinical trials in the treatment of hepatic encephalopathy and severe alcohol-related hepatitis as these studies become available.
