Vascular & Interventional Radiology
Vascular & Interventional Radiology at University Hospitals offers a full range of diagnostic services and image-guided therapies for patients. We take pride in being easily accessible. Our top priority is our responsiveness to a patient’s inquiries and relationships with referring physicians.
Effective Diagnosis and Treatment Using Interventional Radiology
Interventional radiologists are involved in the treatment of the patient, as well as the diagnosis of disease. They treat an ever-widening range of conditions inside the body from outside the body by using various small instruments such as catheters or wires, using X-ray and imaging techniques. Interventional radiology offers an alternative treatment to surgery for many conditions and in some cases, can limit the need for hospitalization.
