Reinberger Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit Offers State-of-The Art Neurocritical Care
The Reinberger Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (NSU) provides complete critical care for all neurology, neurosurgery and interventional neuroradiology patients. It is covered 24/7 by dedicated staff neurointensivists, fellows and residents, along with specially trained nurses. The 14-bed unit is state-of-the-art, with continuous digital electroencephalogram (EEG) and advanced multimodality monitoring capabilities in order to provide skilled, minute-by-minute care. Our extensive experience in postoperative care also increases the opportunity for our patients to experience a safe, smooth recovery following surgery. The innovative and collaborative approach offered in the Reinberger Neuroscience ICU is available at only a handful of centers in the country and is one of only two such units in Northeast Ohio.
