Sophie LeMay, BA

Sophie LeMay, BA

Sophie LeMay is a clinical research and marketing intern for University Hospitals Connor Whole Health. Her primary responsibilities are to establish a research plan for changing integrative health policy; to update the Connor website for accuracy and patient ease; and to recruit patients for research studies.

The studies she’s currently working on explore the feasibility of music therapy to address chronic pain in patients with sickle cell disease and the use of nonpharmacologic modalities to reduce patient exposure to opioids in the emergency department.

Sophie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Journalism from Denison University in Granville, Ohio. She is passionate about integrating western and lifestyle medicine in her personal life, and she’s grateful to be part of the push toward integrative healthcare at both the patient and systemic levels at UH.

In her free time, Sophie loves to be outside, spend time with her friends, sing and play guitar, make art of all kinds and travel.
