Seneca Block, Ph.D(c), MT-BC
Seneca Block is a board certified music therapist and The Lauren Rich Fine Endowed Director of Expressive Therapies within University Hospitals Connor Whole Health. He is currently working on the implementation of music therapy into standard healthcare models including both general medical and psychiatric settings.
With a history of clinical training within institutions including Horizons for Homeless Children, Tufts Medical Center and Mclean Psychiatric Hospital of Harvard Medical School, Seneca received both his master's and bachelor’s degrees in music therapy from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA along with a minor focus on psychology.
Outside of clinical work, Seneca enjoys performing as the bassist in his Cleveland-based pop/groove/soul band "Top Hat Black" and is always working to improve musicianship in addition to his clinical practice.
